“Two Down, Two To Go…” History In The Making
This morning President Obama signed the repeal of “don’t ask, don’t tell” into law. He began the signing ceremony with a story about a gay soldier who served in World War II. Later, he talked about how there will never be a full accounting of the history of service by LGBT military personnel because of the don’t ask, don’t tell policy. He added, “troops sacrifice a lot…. none should have to sacrifice their integrity.” The signing of this repeal is a significant step forward in the LGBT civil rights movement.
Earlier this week, Congressman Barney Frank had this to say about the “homosexual agenda.”
