We invite you to stand with us as we rise above the recent elimination of funding to support our training by the federal government and work toward a more inclusive and supportive future for both LGBTQ+ individuals and law enforcement professionals working at 18,000 agencies across the United States.

Out to Protect is committed to creating a safer, more inclusive environment for LGBTQ+ members within law enforcement while strengthening the relationship between law enforcement and the LGBTQ+ community. Our mission is clear, but we can’t do it alone—your support is crucial.

We believe that all law enforcement professionals, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity, deserve a workplace where they can thrive and be their authentic selves. Through our training programs, we provide essential resources to help law enforcement agencies understand the unique needs of LGBTQ+ officers and community members. These programs foster empathy, break down barriers, and build trust, ultimately creating stronger, safer communities for everyone.

Our goal is to make these transformative training programs available to law enforcement across the country—completely free of charge. This will ensure that every department, regardless of size or funding, has access to the education and resources they need to create a culture of inclusion and respect.
