Register For California Hate Crimes Training

Registration is now open for our online Hate Crimes Investigations course.  This training is available for currently employed civilian or sworn California law enforcement personnel and is certified by the California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training. Click here if you work for an agency outside of California. The Matthew Shepard Foundation is providing a scholarship to cover the full cost of this course for law enforcement personnel.

To register:

  1. Complete the registration form below.  Once you successfully submit the form, you will see an acknowledgement in a green box at the bottom of the page with a website address.
  2. Simply copy the website address into a browser and follow the directions to enroll in the course on the Canvas platform.    You can begin the training immediately.
